Day on the Hill comes at a critical time while we are still dealing with the prospects of sweeping government interventions coming from Washington.  It is time to make a statement within our own borders as a state, as an association and as Georgians.  What will we do to preserve and protect our private health insurance markets "No Matter What" happens on the national scene?

Our invited guests will be the political leadership that most affects our industry here locally.  You can count on us to bring in leaders from all the important posts in state government along with the emerging new leadership in the House.

Maybe it's a toss-up on the question of how important it is to have them speak to us or for them to hear from us.  Can we agree?  We want them to take strong actions to guard our liberties as Georgians.  Can we applaud them for their fiscally conservative approach to the ongoing budget crisis?  Can we ask them to hold the line against tax increases?  Can we make sure we as a state finally do the things that we need to provide portability and availability of coverage, especially to those most in need, without massive government takeovers?

We're counting on you.  Be there!
