Georgia Association of Health Underwriters
(GAHU) Elects New Officers
(Atlanta, Georgia) -- The Georgia Association of Health Underwriters (GAHU), a state
division of the National Association of Health Underwriters is an organization of health
insurance agents, brokers and other professionals. On June 17, 2010, the association
installed its 2010-2011 State Executive Board at its committee chairs.
Robert (Bob) Fitzgerald, Sr. from Marietta, Georgia was installed as president. "GAHU is
in place to act on behalf of "Professional Insurance Agents" and their clients. There has
never been a more important year in working with the legislative and regulatory bodies to
protect the interest of the American people with regards to healthcare. I am very excited
to work with this very talented Board of Directors and our dedicated local chapters to
represent our clients and our members," said Bob.
"As members of GAHU, we help consumers obtain and use their health, financial and
retirement programs. Our focus over the next year will be the unwavering voice to
represent their best interests," explained Bob Fitzgerald.
The new officers are as follows:
Blake D. Watts - resident of Duluth, Georgia and with the firm Mercer will be serving
as Immediate Past President.
Robert Fitzgerald, Sr. - resident of Marietta, Georgia and with the firm Robert
Fitzgerald Insurance Company, Inc. will be serving as President.
Clifton McKnight, Sr. - resident of Atlanta, Georgia and with Strategic Insurance and
Services Alliances, LLC will be serving as President Elect.
Maggie D. Coley - resident of Savannah, Georgia and with the firm Coley Benefit
Services, Inc. will be serving as Treasurer.
Trey Tompkins, JD, CFC - resident of Roswell, Georgia and with the firm Admin
America will be serving as Vice President.
Matt Holcomb - resident of Atlanta, Georgia and with the firm Holcomb Insurance
Services will be serving as Secretary.
