Mark T. Bowen BS, ANP-BC
Mark Bowen is an experienced and board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who gained his Bachelors of
Science and Masters of Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Since then Mark has taken the
additional time to gain his Personal Training Certificate from the Cooper’s Institute in Dallas, Texas to
enhance his effectiveness for his current role with St. Joseph’s/Candler at Georgia Ports Authority.
Throughout his extensive nursing carrier which extends both through his military and civilian career,
Mark has been focused on promoting the health and wellness of those he has treated since 1989. Most
of Mark’s career has been in an occupational setting where he has worked both as a nurse and a nurse
practitioner. He has developed health promotional activities such as smoking cessation and weight loss
programs, he has worked alongside human resource and safety departments to ensure OSHA guidelines
are being maintained in the workplace, and has been crucial in operating the Waterfront Wellness
program out at Georgia Ports Authority!
Mark is a new grandfather and is a very active member of his church. He’s a very family oriented man
and spends much of his free time helping others

 

Courtney Seagraves BA, MPH
Courtney Seagraves was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia where she attended Calvary Baptist Day
School from pre-k until College. During her time at Armstrong Atlantic State University she obtained a
Bachelor’s of Arts in Gender & Women’s Studies with a Minor in Psychology in 2010 and her Masters of
Public Health in 2012. After leaving academics, Courtney has spent her time gaining knowledge on the
multiple aspects of hospital contracting, billing, and operations.
Having prior experience with Managed Care consulting, Courtney joined the Managed Care Department
at St. Joseph’s/Candler in 2018 after working in the patient financial services department since 2015.
With her public health experience Courtney oversees five on-site employer based clinics, and works with
the business development team at St. Joseph’s/Candler to promote the goals of the health system. She
is the mother of three dogs and enjoys volunteering with the Sisters of Mercy.
